Well, we have a new president....Sigh...........I think it will be an interesting 4 years.
I am adding my post from Facebook from this morning, in an effort to lift my spirits and perhaps your too!

This morning I was drinking my coffee and listening to the news and I started to cry..... We Americans have a bit of a mess going on here. And for whatever reason, I got up and went to my living room window and right there......At that very moment....A beautiful American Eagle flew by! I swear that he looked at me! What a beautiful bird! Now I don't see many of them flying around here because I am pretty close to the airport, but this morning there was this one.

Not everything will go the way we want it to go. But, I find that my love for this country will give me the strength and courage to stand up for the rights of freedom that we OWN. And that is democracy. No matter who is president.
